On Sunday Crow hosted the second black belt grading for 2016. Together with our friends from the Northern Dragons martial arts school it was once again time for a couple of chosen students to prove their skills.
Crow Martial Arts had a total of eight students testing for a new belt. Six of these students examined for their first degree black belt, one for second degree black belt and our instructor Matt attempted his fourth degree black belt.
The black belt grading is an intense three hour session in which all students are pushed to their limit. Students get tested in a broad spectrum of skills ranging from technique, self-defence and forms to sparring and board breaking. The high standard of the grading was evident in the performance shown by all students. Unfortunately, Matt injured his foot in one of his highly dynamic demonstrations and was unable to continue on the day. Stay tuned for the 2017 grading.
The rest of the Crow students demonstrated why they all deserve the opportunity to go for their next belt. In an amazing performance all students exceeded the expectations set by Master Craig and the grading panel leading to successfully grading to their next belt level.
We congratulate all our students on their achievement. The whole Crow team is proud of your performance.
