We all know that motivation is key to achieving success in any field. But we all struggle at times with keeping our motivation up. Especially at this time of the year when the days are short and the temperatures are low.
Here are 4 ways to keep up your motivation year round.
1. Set a solid goal
What is it you want to achieve? What would be your ultimate goal?
Really think about this for a moment. Most people only have some vague idea about the things they want to achieve. You need a solid goal and a plan on how to achieve it. You need to know the “what” and the “when”. Write it down on a piece of paper and put it somewhere where you can see it every day.
2. Stop making excuses
People tend to make more excuses why they can`t do something than attempts of actually trying to do it. Change is hard and building habits is even harder but you will never get anywhere if you don`t start. So stop telling yourself all the beautiful lies why it doesn`t work or why you won`t succeed and get out there and "just do it".
3. Plan your day
When you wake up in the morning you should make a list of 5 things that you want to be done by the end of the day. Needless to say that all items on your list should help bringing you closer to your dream. Ticking items off your to-do list is a great feeling.
4. Get the right mindset
Motivation is a state of mind. To keep your mindset on track you want to get in the zone.
